Celeste : Personal Branding Session

I was so excited to meet Celeste over zoom to talk through the details of her yoga inspired personal branding photoshoot. Celeste recently graduated to become a nurse practitioner, and on top of that amazing accomplishment, she is also in pursuit of building her own business – by means of wedding videography and wellness coaching! When she mentioned on our planning call that she wanted to have a yoga inspired personal branding session in Carmel, I was over the moon excited to capture these beautiful photos! If you know me, you KNOW I love getting to capture brand photos for creatives and women business owners in the Bay Area — so I am THRILLED to be able to share more from this gorgeous yoga inspired personal branding photoshoot with you!

Planning Celeste’s Yoga Inspired Personal Brand Photoshoot:

For Celeste’s full day yoga inspired branding photoshoot, we opted for a few different locations. First, we started her brand photoshoot at Stanford in the Arizona Cactus Garden. We wanted to highlight the fun, sassy, playful side to her brand with some beautiful pops of color and fun poses! We also were excited to get some yoga inspired photos at the Arizona garden to showcase the beauty of nature & being fully present in it. I’m so in love with how both sets of photos turned out at this location!

For the second location, we rented a beautiful, well-it, indoor studio for some behind-the-scenes photos. We created a few different scenes including: a morning routine with tea and fruits in the kitchen, working from the couch, and a fun variety of photos in front of a blank wall with Celeste and sound healing (singing) bowls, playing the guitar, watercolor painting, yoga and dancing. This was so fun because we got to really highlight some of Celeste’s amazing talents in a beautiful, inspirational space!

Then, we headed to Carmel for some fun outdoor photos. I love all of the colors in downtown Carmel – the light is always so beautiful and there are so many walls and places to get beautiful pops of color! As a final location, we ended at a beach in Carmel. This was (maybe) the best spot of the day! We brought along Celeste’s yoga mat and really focused on getting photos of her practicing mindfulness and yoga in the beauty of nature. The beach was so beautiful and we got to witness (and photograph) the most beautiful golden sunset! We also got to showcase more of Celeste’s fun, playful, free-spirited energy in these photos at the beach — truly, she is glowing in this entire set of photos!

The Photoshoot Experience:

It was truly the most magical photoshoot day. Celeste and I traveled down to Carmel together and we seemed to bond SO quickly. Once we got to Carmel we stopped for lunch at a delicious mediterranean restaurant (it’s so important to feel nourished during photoshoot days!), and it was so great getting to eat a delicious meal and learn more about her and her journey. We realized throughout the day that we have so many similarities and it was no surprise that we seemed to instantly connect with each other. I’m so thankful that the Universe brought her into my life at the perfect time!

Branding photoshoots can feel really personal and I’m so grateful that I get to collaborate with such open, kind-hearted creatives! This is why I love taking the time to really get to know them (and their business) before the session, so we can create an experience that feels 100% true to their personality and brand!
